- Vast.ai. Vast says live prices are "typically about 25% above what hosts earn", and that "the prices hosts set will be the prices they earn" since its June 2024 "internal surcharge model". Its pricing docs say "No markup layered on top of host-set prices", and it publishes no exact rate. Until June 2024 its FAQ said hosts received 75%, "with 25% kept by Vast.ai" (33% on top of host earnings, our arithmetic). - RunPod. RunPod's hosting docs said "Runpod charges a 24% service fee" (including about 4% card fees) until at least 14 October 2025; the sentence was gone by February 2026. RunPod stopped onboarding Community Cloud hosts on 24 February 2026, and supply-partner terms are now "shared during the partner evaluation and onboarding process".
